Delphi

Delphi sits on the slopes of Mount Parnassus in central Greece, once considered the center of the world by ancient Greeks. This archaeological site was home to the famous Oracle of Delphi, where the high priestess Pythia would deliver prophecies believed to come directly from Apollo. The ruins you can see today include the Temple of Apollo, the ancient theater, and the well-preserved stadium where the Pythian Games were held.
