Newcastle upon Tyne

Newcastle upon Tyne is a vibrant city in northeast England with a rich industrial past and a modern, energetic atmosphere. The city sits dramatically on the north bank of the River Tyne, with its iconic series of bridges connecting it to Gateshead on the opposite shore. The most famous is probably the Tyne Bridge, which might remind you of Sydney Harbour Bridge (and for good reason - they share similar designs!).
